Where to stay when visiting US National Parks

Zion National Park
Cascades National Park
Through out the pandemic, US national parks have been seeing a surge of visitors as weeks at home have turned into months and everyone is yearning for some socially distanced exploring in the great outdoors. We absolutely love to spend the days hiking mountains, chasing waterfalls, and swimming in secluded glacier lakes but we aren't much for camping. The US falls short of some of the more luxurious hotels you may find in the Swiss Alps, the Italian Dolomites or the Norwegian Fjords. Here's our best picks for hotels to stay at near some of the most popular national parks.
Located only 40 minutes outside the National Park, the Autocamp Yosemite has both airstreams and cabins with kitchenettes, queen size beds with down comforters, full bathroom with rain-shower and stocked with Malin + Goetz toiletries. Each airstream stream has an outdoor fire-pit that makes campfire meals and roasting marshmallows a real treat.
Ventana Big Sur
Although Big Sur isn't technically a national park, this adults only resort comes with all the bells and whistles. Ventana Big Sur is located along the dramatic California coastline, Big Sur's 59 rooms and suites are situated on 160-acres of natural bliss. Each suite comes with a patio or balcony perfect to enjoy a classic California Sunset. And although children are not allowed, they'll let you bring your four legged friend for $150.
For those that are still looking to be a bit closer to nature, they also offer glamping in safari style tents amongst the redwoods!
Arches & Canyonlands:
Set between two exceptional Utah National Parks, Undercanvas Moab will deliver the best of desert glamping in the middle of towering plateaus, sandstone cliffs and naturally occurring geologic wonders of Utah’s Canyon Country. Each tent is set on top a wooden platform and are outfitted with furniture from West Elm. We suggest you splurge on the tents that also have personal in suite showers. They also provide complimentary "camp" activities and dinner can be cooked at it's picnic area with grills.
Zion National Park & Bryce Canyon:
Cliffrose Springdale, a Curio Collection by Hilton
Just a 9 minute walk from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, Cliffrose Springdale will get you to the park entrance before the crowds and is full of amenities if you're thinking of lagging behind. The riverfront resort has two heated pools and hot tubs that are open year round (which is amazing if you are considering visiting these national parks in winter). Book the grand view villa for amazing views, a full kitchen and dining area that can accommodate up to 6!
The Advenire, Autograph Collection
Within a 1-2 hour drive of some of the most spectacular national parks The Advenire in St. George Utah is a perfect getaway hotel. With a world class fitness center, restaurant, bar and a rooftop hot tub available for guests its hard to find a more comfortable place to stay on a Southern Utah road trip.

This 5-star property tucked into the middle of the southwestern Utah desert will truly take your breath away. Although most come to Utah to hike, you come to Amangiri to be pampered.
